YOUTH TESTIMONIES

I've been going to Generation X Youth Ministries since the summer of 2008. That could have not been a better time for me, because I was transitioning from middle school to high school and figuring out who I was. Before GX I was not a bad kid...but I had lost sight of God, and I can honestly say without GX, I don't know where I'd be, due to all the temptations that come with high school. GX has helped me realize a lot about who I am in Christ and the plans he has for me. Now I am able to spread God's word and love to others at my high school, because of the seed GX placed in me. I find it just amazing how God set one vision into 2 people (Pastor Brandon & Mandy) and from that it has changed so many lives. GX is truly a blessing to not only my life, but of so many others.

God was my strength when things we're hard. I didn't want to get out of bed in the morning all i wanted to do was stay in bed and cry all day, I wanted to be by myself. I was worried and scared and I just let my emotions and my situations control me. But I stayed faithful, I kept going to GX on Saturday's and God totally turned my life around, He delivered me from that depression, worry and fear! He gave me joy, peace and comfort. And He still does every day. I know now that when things get tough I don't have to be "depressed" or "scared" of what is gonna happen". But I know the Joy of the Lord is my strength! God has my back, and if God is for me who can be against me :) that's something God has done for me through GX!
